About us

The School comprises some 85 academic staff, 14 postdoctoral researchers and 70 language-teaching and administrative staff. We view languages such as English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish less as European Languages than as languages of European origin spoken in many parts of the world, alongside our other languages, including Arabic, German, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Turkish, Hebrew and Persian.
