The University of Manchester is the proud home of the 2nd Confucius Institute in the UK, a partnership between the University of Manchester, the Office of Chinese Language Council International (Hanban) and Beijing Normal University.
- Spanish Embassy Education Office
The main aim of the office in Manchester is to promote the Spanish language and culture in the North West of the United Kingdom and support teachers of Spanish in general. La Consejería de Educación provides teaching and linguistic advice, materials and resources to both teachers, schools or further education institutions that teach Spanish.

The Goethe-Institut (GI) Examination Centre (GIPZ, PZ stands for Prüfungszentrum) is part of a world-wide network of GIs, GI Centres, cultural societies, reading rooms and GI Examination Centres, which have played a central role in the cultural and educational policies of Germany for over 50 years. Here at the ULC we offer a complete service for learning German.
