The Centre for Translation and Intercultural Studies provides an excellent environment for research. It runs regular research seminars by distinguished invited speakers throughout the year, thus providing research students and visitors with access to the latest developments in the field.
In addition to students registered on research degrees, CTIS is home to a broad range of experienced researchers who choose to spend their study leave in Manchester to benefit from our research facilities and the expertise of staff attached to CTIS and the School of Languages, Linguistics and Cultures. Our visitors contribute actively to creating a vibrant intellectual environment that our younger researchers find both challenging and stimulating.
