The Centre for Translation and Intercultural Studies offers two MA programmes for entry in September 2011:

The MA in Conference Interpreting (MACINT) trains students in consecutive and simultaneous interpreting, preparing them for careers as interpreters for Arabic, French, German, Spanish or Chinese.

The MA in Translation and Interpreting Studies (MATIS) offers students a wide range of course units in specialised translation which can be combined with options in translation technologies, consecutive interpreting or public service interpreting. Alternatively, MATIS students can choose research-oriented options which will prepare them for doctoral study.
