Research Specialism

I have a particular interest in Iranian languages, and have previously been involved in sociolinguistic survey of smaller languages in Tajikistan (in collaboration with the State National University of Tajikistan and the Tajik government) and in Afghanistan (with the support of the government of Afghanistan).
