Linguistics and English Language seminars and events
The Institute for Linguistics and Language Studies holds a weekly seminar for staff and postgraduates during term-time on Tuesdays, from 4.15 to 5.15 pm, in Samuel Alexander A115, followed by a wine reception. The organisers for 2009-10 are Elke Philburn, Silke Scheible and Michael Ramsammy.
Our informal lunchtime seminar with an English Language/Linguistics focus, the Langwidge Sandwidge, will resume in Semester 2, on Tuesdays from 1.00 to 2.00 pm in Samuel Alexander S.1.5. Hot and cold drinks and biscuits are provided; bring your own sandwiches. The organisers for 2009-10 are Nuria Yáñez-Bouza and David Denison.
