Research specialism:

Currently I am in the first year of my PhD researching the Bible and religious cultural history (catholic) and their relationship with surrealist poetry in Spain. I have been researching for a year and a half at the University of Salamanca "Biblical References in the Early Poetry of Federico Garcia Lorca" with a scholarship awarded by the Spanish Ministry of Culture. This scholarship for research work in the department of Spanish Literature of the Universidad de Alicante (Spain) is given by the Ministry of Culture to final year undergraduate students.

Conference Presentations:

"La Metropoli como distopia en el cine americano y en la poesia de Lorca: Poeta en Nueva York" in the International Conference "El 27 en America". Universidad de Cordoba and Diputacion de Cordoba (Spain), 12-16 November, 2007.

Conference Organisation:

Scholarship for working with the department of protocol of the Universidad de Alicante as an undergraduate student. Collaboration in the organisation of many conferences during the academic year 2003-2004.

Teaching Areas: Spanish language and culture (undergraduate students) International Studies Abroad in a contract with the Universidad Internacional Menedez Pelayo (Spain)

Professional biography: First Class BA (Hons.) in Spanish Studies by the University of Alicante (Spain); First Class BA (Hons.) in English studies by the University of Alicante; two first years of PhD. (including a taught year) in the University of Salamanca (Spain); Postgraduate course on didactics (Teaching qualification) at the University of Barcelona (Spain).
