About CTIS
CTIS has a long-standing, international reputation for the quality of its research and teaching, and boasts the largest concentration of translation and interpreting studies specialists in the UK. CTIS is a partner in the annual Translation Research Summer School and is co-hosting the Research Models in Translation Studies II conference in 2011.

Our Research
Publications by CTIS staff constitute standard references in the field, including the Routledge Encyclopedia of Translation Studies, In Other Words, Translation and Conflict: A Narrative Account, Introducing Corpora in Translation Studies, and The Translator. CTIS also hosts the Translational English Corpus.
