Services and Facilities
Computer facilities
In total there are more than 10,000 PCs and workstations across the campus. All provide access to standard office software as well as specialist programs, and all are connected to the campus network and internet.
Laser printing is available and charged at a small price per sheet (black and white or colour) and there is a printer situated in each of the computer clusters.
There is also subject-specific software available to assist you in your learning. As email is the prime means of communication between staff and students all students are given a personal email account which is accessible both on and off campus. An introduction to the campus computing facilities and a wide range of ICT training is offered too. If you have more demanding computer requirements our specialist computing division Manchester Computing can provide high-end and specialist computing services.
