Slavonica

A twice-yearly publication on the literatures, languages, history, cultures and the arts in Russia and Central & Eastern Europe.

SLAVONICA was founded in 1983 under the title SCOTTISH SLAVONIC REVIEW, and changed to the present name in 1994. It has established itself as one of the leading international journals in the field of Slavonic and East European Studies.

SLAVONICA is international and interdisciplinary in its approach and publishes original research in the fields of Russian and Central and East European Studies by scholars throughout the world including Russia and Eastern Europe:

Each issue contains around twenty specialist book reviews commissioned from experts the world over on a wide range of topics: economics, history, politics, drama, arts, music etc. The language of publication is normally English. SLAVONICA is a twice-yearly publication. All articles are refereed.

SLAVONICA with its broad approach and cover is essential reading for all academics and specialists concerned with understanding Russia and Central and East Europe.

Notes for Contributors

Whenever possible, material for publication in Slavonica should be provided on a returnable disc together with a printout of the text.

Contributors submitting material in languages other than English are asked to send either an English version plus a copy of the text in the original language.

The final decision for acceptance for publication rests with the Editorial Board.
